Skype
I think using Skype in the classroom could be a very valuable tool for the students to learn from experts in the field. We could schedule a conference call with an official at the CDC for health or at the local police department for Drivers Ed. It would be cool for the students to ask their questions directly.

Skype is awesome! Though I haven't used it in the classroom setting, the possibilities of using it the class is numerous. How cool would it be to work with another class in real time. You could be doing projects, experiments, and other collaborative work.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very innovative way to bring other people and advanced knowledge into the classroom. It is a great way to save time, yet branch out and bring new ideas to the classroom.
